Your support ensures that pastors and clergy continue to bring the light of Jesus into the world. Through prayers and support, we currently have seminarians studying for the priesthood in the Diocese of Camden.

CATHOLIC EDUCATION – “FORMING MINDS AND HEARTS IN GRACE”

Catholic schools are an integral part of the teaching mission of the Church. Catholic schools build faith, develop leadership ability and provide academic excellence in a safe environment. Your gift will help keep tuition affordable for families to send children to schools that will support Catholic values, develop character and provide academic excellence.

INCENTIVES FOR PARISH INITIATIVES

When our parish collects its goal amount, up to 10% is returned to our parish for our local charitable needs. Additionally, 75% of all funds received above our parish goal will also be returned to our parish to foster our charitable and ministerial work.

We will journey with St. Louis de Montfort, Saint Maximilian Kolbe, Saint Mother Teresa and Saint John Paul II as we prepare to renew Marian Consecration on the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes.

As a group, we will meet on Mondays, January 6 to February 17. There will be an initial celebratory Mass on January 6 and Thanksgiving Mass, February 17. All are welcome to join the Eucharistic Celebrations. 

This is a self-directed retreat, so meetings are not mandatory, but suggested. If you are unable to attend the sessions, a review summary will be available. Please contact us (below) for any questions or information.

Our Parish is on a journey know, love, and serve Christ in our parish community. Together we must embrace Christ’s vision for missionary discipleship so our parish can thrive and be a place for others to grow together in faith.

The very first step in this process involves assessing our greatest strengths and opportunities, and that is where the Disciple Maker Index (DMI) comes in! The DMI is an important survey tool that invites you to reflect on your discipleship journey here at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. The Disciple Maker Index is designed to:

• Invite parishioners to reflect on their journey of discipleship.
• Enable parish leadership to make data-driven decisions. 
• Help parishioners grow in their faith.

The 10–15-minute survey will be accessed through an online link and will ask you to reflect on your own spiritual growth and enable you to provide your perspective on our parish’s efforts to help you grow in relationship with Christ. All responses will be confidential, and the parish will only receive information about the community as a whole. We will share the link with you a bit closer to the launch of the survey. Paper surveys will also be available for those who do not have the ability to complete the survey online.

Together we must embrace Christ’s vision for missionary discipleship so our parish can thrive and be a place for others to grow together in faith.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton congratulates and welcomes Bishop Joseph A. Williams as coadjutor bishop of the Diocese of Camden. Essentially, he will be the new Bishop of Camden when Bishop Dennis J. Sullivan transitions into his retirement, which is expected to begin March 17, 2025. Bishop Sullivan retains the full responsibility for the Diocese of Camden, as Bishop Williams learns the diocese and acquaints himself with South Jersey.

 Bishop Williams was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis in 2002. His episcopal ordination (to be a bishop) took place January 25, 2022, the Feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul.

Has served as pastor, parochial administrator, and parochial vicar in various locations through Minneapolis and Minnesota. He has also served as coordinator of the Archdiocesan Outreach to Persons with Disabilities and, in 2018, was appointed the Archdiocesan Vicar for Latino Ministry. He is a member of the board of trustees for The Saint Paul Seminary and Saint John Vianney College Seminary and has served as chaplain of the Minnesota House of Representatives. Born May 2, 1974, to Dr. Gary and Mary McDonald Williams, Bishop Williams is the third of nine children. He grew up in Stillwater, MN, where he attended Saint Croix Catholic School and Stillwater High School. His brother, Father Peter Williams, ordained in 2004, is a priest of the Archdiocese, and is Pastor in Woodbury, MN. Bishop Williams holds a B.A. in biology from the University of Minnesota, Morris; studied philosophy and pre-theology at Franciscan University of Steubenville, OH; and earned a Master of Divinity degree from The St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity in St. Paul. He was ordained a priest at age 28. “I look forward to learning from Bishop Sullivan, my brother priests in Camden, the deacons, consecrated women and men and the faithful of South Jersey about their needs and their hopes for the future,” says Bishop Williams.
