Fr Gaston is a priest of the Archdiocese of Manila and currently Rector of the Pontificio Collegio Filippino in Rome (a residence for priests doing further studies in the Ecclesiastical Sciences).

Fr. Gaston was ordained by St. John Paul II in 1993 and has served in seminaries, parishes, media outfits, and bioethics committees in Manila and abroad, as well as five years at the Vatican.

He is currently preparing his Dissertation for the Doctor in Communications program at the UP Open University.
