International Food Display

OCTOBER 12 at 5:00 PM

Join us in Monsignor Coyne Hall to celebrate the diversity of our parish family and sample cuisine from many countries!
We are seeking parishioners interested in bringing a unique cultural dish to share. We’re looking for enough food to give a small sample size for approximately 50 individuals. To volunteer to cook and host a table, submit the form below or email contact@setonabsecon.org

Things to know for volunteers

  • Your food may be hot or cold. Please plan to pack your food in a crockpot or chafing dish to stay warm, cold dishes may be stored in the church refrigerator or freezer prior to the event.
  • Plan to bring your food to the event in a large dish so that it can be served as a sample size.  We will provide utensils for guests and sample size cups for each cultural food.
  • Please fill out and return or email the ingredient information below by October 9th.  We will print out ingredient lists and allergy information to display with your dish.
  • We ask that you either deliver your dish before Mass from 3:15 – 4:00 pm, or arrive ready to set up by 4:30 pm if you do not attend the 4 pm Mass. Food may be stored in the church kitchen until 5:00 pm.
  • You can bring cultural items to decorate your table!
  • On October 12th, we will have a table for each country represented. We ask that you serve your dish to parishioners in the sample size cups we provide as they visit your table. Please have food cut up in advance if applicable.
  • If multiple people sign up for any one country, we will contact you to help avoid duplicate foods or so that you can make a smaller portion.
  • Please prepare enough food to give a small sample to approximately 50 people.
  • EVENT START TIME is 5:00pm!
