Considerations and practices for Mass

  1. FAST -Do not eat any food an hour before Mass to highlight our hunger for the Eucharist. Only water is allowed.
  1. COME EARLY– Allow 10-15 minutes of meditation before the mass.
  1. DO NOT EAT- You’ve come for the body and blood of Christ; they are the only things to be consumed.
  1. DRESS PROPERLY -Dress properly out of respect, honor, and reverence for the real presence of Our Lord.
  1. NO PHONES -Turn your mobile phones off and stay focused.
  1. GENUFLECT- Kneel on your right knee in the direction of the tabernacle before sitting.
  1. PARTICIPATE– Sing, respond, listen, and pray with your community.
  1. REFLECT– Consider your blessings and failings from the week.
  1. THINK OF OTHERS- Avoid conversation or keep it to a low whisper. Show reverence for the moment and those who are praying.
  1. BE STILL– Don’t be in a hurry. Enjoy and feel God’s presence and thank Him for His graces.
